Sad, 2023

Brand of flower shop for Laura and Anita, two friends who wanted to push their passion and hobby further. We created a brand that reflects their personal nature—bold, colorful, and unconventional. We came up with a double meaning for the name of their new venture — SAD.

In Czech, ‘sad’ means orchard — a place where everything blooms and is filled with life. In English, however, ‘sad’ means something completely different. Being sad is strongly associated with receiving flowers, because flowers are a direct cure for sadness. In cooperation with Tomas Hlava, we developed a full brand with a colorful basis that reflects into their online presentation, physical store, and flower wrapping.
